Still living with the wife not wanting to separate over the holidays…. Aldonza PERMALINK December 1, 2009 2:11 pm I was in a 21-year relationship. I left him for having a non-physical dalliance and lying about that and other things. I’m currently seeing a man who showing all signs of being serious. Both of them are alpha types, tall, confident, athletic, and successful in masculine professions. For the most part, it’s easy to tell when a man is into a woman because he will break all the player rules. The PUAs will say that he’s a beta if he does. But it’s not a black or white thing. Men and women are different at different times in their lives and want different things. A man can chose to court a woman he finds worthy. And yes, I said court. Because if he games her, he’ll never really believe she’s worthy. There’s the rub. Obsidian PERMALINK December 1, 2009 2:22 pm Aldonza, The question I have is, if the relationship was so enduring for so long, WHY did he “have a dalliance”? What happened, or broke down, to bring that about? And as for courting, it’s all but dead in our time. Most guys have no reason or incentive to “court” a Woman these days. Not in his best interests.
