Boy did I learn quickly after the many times getting my ass, boobs, and body groped in public restaurants and bars…..where no cops were even called and no bouncers or staff did much more then verbally chastise the patron. Where men would stalk, threaten, harass, and not take “no” for an answer and start screaming at me and calling me “entitled cunt” and “snobby bitch” by men who had hit on me……and been rejected. The many times that I reported harassment or a guy stalking me…..and they told me “we can’t do anything until he actually ATTACKS or kills you”.
I learned quickly how little police, the law, the courts, or other men care about women at all. They seem to “expect” women to tolerate sexual comments, sexual groping in public, cursing and degrading a woman for rejecting them, drunkenly following her home (or trying to) and pretty much anything that men do along the lines of “just trying to get laid” is ALWAYS excused by men, women, AND the law.
I experienced if first hand and that’s why it pisses me off that men are so fucking cavalier about harassment and sexual advance/language/groping in public places and the work place. It’s NOT fucking normal and how many times have YOU as a man had 2 or 3 different women in one bar scream things about “your cock” or walk up and grope your dick against your will? Men who excuse sexually degrading and abusive behaviors as “a few men who do that” are SOOOOOO FAR OFF that it’s not even funny.
I stopped going to bars and restaurants with friends, family, AND men because I cannot take the disgusting behavior and refuse to tolerate it anymore. So I cannot even GO to those places because I’m a “relatively attractive woman” and evidently that means that I’m supposed to EXPECT to get hit on, deal with it, not complain, and just assume the men who harass, grope, catcall, and leer at me are “lonely and misguided”.
Fuck. That.
Those men are goddamn criminals and should be locked up as the animals they are and yet men, police, AND women constantly excuse men as “boys will be boys” and we “attractive” ladies need to ACCEPT IT and take it as a fucking COMPLIMENT???
